Kharwas is a unique and delectable Maharashtrian sweet dish made from the colostrum milk(Chick)of cow and buffalo..Colostrum which is the milk produced by cows or buffaloes in the first few days after giving birth.In Maharashtra , rural areas chick is freely distributed  as someones cow or buffalo births a calf.The preparation of kharwas involves collecting the colostrum milk from cows or buffaloes, mixing it with sugar or jaggery, and then steaming or baking the mixture until it sets. The dish is then cooled, sliced into pieces and served.Colostrum is loaded with antibodies, proteins, and essential nutrients.Kharwas is primarily consumed as a dessert, appreciated for its sweet and creamy taste.We make both type of kharwas Gul (Jaggery) And Sakahar (Sugar).
