Cheddar cheese, originally from the United Kingdom, has gained popularity across the globe—including in India. At Paneerwala, our handcrafted Cheddar cheese is made from cow’s milk and is intended for sale in India only. We use vegetable rennet to coagulate the milk. Once the curd forms, it is cut into small pieces, and the whey is carefully drained. The cheese is then aged for varying durations, typically from a few months to several years. The longer it is aged, the sharper and more intense its flavor becomes.
